PlayDrop Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 20, 2026
Company: PlayDrop Inc. ("PlayDrop", "we", "us")
General contact: contact@playdrop.ai
Privacy requests: privacy@playdrop.ai
This Privacy Policy explains how PlayDrop collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, native apps, SDK/CLI, embedded experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is an AI-powered gaming platform and application store for browser-native games, creator tools, and digital game assets.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, and disclose information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. By creating or using an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
1) Who this Policy applies to
This Policy applies to:
- visitors to our websites;
- users who create an account;
- creators who upload, publish, or distribute games, apps, assets, or packs through PlayDrop; and
- players who launch or use PlayDrop content, including embedded experiences.
2) Information we collect
A. Information you provide
- Account information: username, password (stored in hashed form), display name, bio, profile links, selected profile asset, and other account details you choose to add.
- Social login information: if you sign in or link Google or X, we receive identifiers and profile information that the provider makes available to us based on your settings and permissions.
- User content: games, apps, assets, packs, source bundles, prompts, metadata, descriptions, screenshots, videos, comments, and other material you upload, publish, or submit.
- Support and communications: messages you send to us, including support requests, reports, and feedback.
- Purchase and billing information: transaction status, purchase metadata, receipt or entitlement information, and related account records. Payment card details are processed by payment providers such as Stripe or platform stores and are not stored by PlayDrop.
B. Information collected automatically
- Usage and activity data: pages or screens viewed, content interactions, follows, saves, comments, publishing actions, search activity, gameplay activity, and similar service events.
- Device and technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser or app version, language, error logs, diagnostics, and related technical metadata.
- Approximate location: rough location inferred from IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: web cookies, local storage, and similar tools used for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation.
C. AI inputs and outputs
If you use AI features, we collect and store:
- prompts, text, code, assets, and other inputs you submit to AI features; and
- outputs returned by those features.
We may send inputs and related context to third-party AI providers in order to generate outputs and operate the Service.
D. Future advertising data
PlayDrop plans to add Google advertising products on web and mobile later. Those advertising tools are not live today.
If or when PlayDrop enables advertising, Google or other approved ad technology providers may collect or receive identifiers, cookies, local storage values, mobile advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location, and ad interaction signals as described in the then-current product experience and this Policy.
PlayDrop does not currently use separate third-party analytics SDKs or analytics providers for general product analytics.
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- authenticate accounts and secure the platform;
- host, publish, distribute, and render creator content;
- power AI features and return outputs;
- personalize in-product discovery and recommendations;
- process purchases, credits, receipts, and entitlements;
- respond to support requests and communicate with users;
- investigate fraud, abuse, cheating, policy violations, or security incidents;
- moderate content and enforce our Terms and platform rules; and
- comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.
4) Legal bases (EEA, UK, Switzerland where applicable)
Where applicable, we process personal data based on:
- contract, to provide the Service you request;
- legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, service operation, moderation, and product improvement;
- consent, where required for certain cookies, advertising, or similar technologies; and
- legal obligation, where processing is required by law.
5) How we share information
We may share information with:
A. Service providers
Vendors that help us operate the Service, including hosting, infrastructure, storage, email delivery, customer support tooling, security tooling, payment providers, and AI providers.
B. Payment providers and app platforms
Payment processors such as Stripe, and platform providers such as Apple and Google, may process payments and provide purchase or entitlement status to us.
C. Creators, developers, and publishers
When you launch, play, or use a game, app, or multiplayer experience on PlayDrop, we may share the information needed to operate that experience with the relevant creator, developer, or publisher.
This may include your PlayDrop username, a PlayDrop user or session identifier, selected avatar or profile asset information, gameplay state, in-game submissions, and receipt or entitlement status needed for that experience.
We do not share full payment card details or billing information collected directly by our payment providers with creators, developers, or publishers.
D. Other users and the public
If you publish content, your profile and published content may be visible publicly and may be accessible off-platform through embedding or distribution tools you enable.
Comments, profile information, and other information you choose to make public may also be visible to other users.
E. Legal, safety, and business transfers
We may disclose information to:
- comply with law or legal process;
- protect the rights, safety, and security of PlayDrop, users, or others;
- investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
- support a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
6) Public content, embedding, and third-party contexts
If you publish games, apps, assets, or packs:
- they may be visible to users and the public;
- they may be embedded or distributed outside PlayDrop if you enable those features; and
- copies may remain temporarily in backups, caches, or third-party contexts after removal.
Some experiences may be hosted, embedded, or operated in environments outside PlayDrop. In those cases, the creator, publisher, host site, or their providers may collect information directly under their own terms and privacy policies.
7) Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
- keep your account active and provide the Service;
- support purchases, receipts, and account history;
- maintain security and abuse-prevention records;
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements; and
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, or reporting obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it where reasonably practical.
8) Security
We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate.
No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) Your choices and controls
You may be able to:
- update certain profile details in account settings;
- export your PlayDrop account data through Privacy Choices or account settings;
- delete your account through Privacy Choices or account settings;

If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing privacy@playdrop.ai with the subject line Privacy Appeal.
We may take reasonable steps to verify that a privacy request relates to the correct account before we act on it.
10) U.S. state privacy disclosures
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect categories of personal information that include:
- identifiers and account information;
- internet or network activity;
- commercial information such as purchase and receipt history;
- approximate geolocation;
- user-generated content;
- device and technical information; and
- inferences used for security, moderation, or service personalization.
PlayDrop does not currently sell personal information for money.
If PlayDrop later enables advertising or other disclosures that trigger additional opt-out rights under California or other U.S. state privacy laws, we will provide the required controls through the product experience, including the Privacy Choices surface where applicable.
11) International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12) Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the web for:
- authentication and session integrity;
- security;
- storing user preferences; and
- operating core product features.
If PlayDrop later enables advertising or other non-essential web technologies that require consent or additional user choice, those controls will be presented through the relevant web experience and reflected in this Policy.
13) Third-party services
Third-party services you interact with through PlayDrop, such as Google, X, Stripe, Apple, Google Play, or AI providers, have their own terms and privacy practices. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
14) Children
The Service is not directed to children under 17, and we do not knowingly allow users under 17 to use the Service.
If you believe someone under 17 has provided information to us in violation of our rules, contact privacy@playdrop.ai.
