Ganghwa Island Defense (강화도 수호전)

Defend Ganghwa Island in a real-time historical strategy game inspired by the French expedition of 1866 and the American expedition of 1871. A single desktop command screen brings together the island map, fortress status, minimap, troop list, battle log, general information, resources and orders. Appoint your commander, build and repair defensive positions, protect the villages behind Ganghwa Fortress, and confront enemy fleets and landing forces. After the headquarters falls, Joseon landing reinforcements can continue the fight; defeat follows when those forces are also lost.

Command Sixteen Generals — sixteen distinct generals fight from the island’s forts and batteries. Hold The Walls — build, reinforce and repair walls, gates and cannon positions. Control The Strait — command panokseon warships and turtle ships against enemy fleets. Keep Supplies Flowing — protect river convoys from Gimpo and Gyodong, and the farmers producing food.
