About MARS: FIRST CIVILIZATION
You are the first governor of humanity's first permanent Mars settlement. Twenty-five colonists have landed, the oxygen is running, and no one on Earth promises to keep sending help.
Build an isometric colony on rolling red terrain: place habitats, greenhouses, solar farms, ice extractors and water plants, lay pressurised corridors that carry power, water, air and people, and watch the settlement come alive.
Every colonist has a life. Each has a name, age, personality, skills, needs, a home and a job. They wake, eat, walk to work, socialise, fall ill, make friends, become partners and have Mars-born children who grow up to take jobs of their own. Buildings only produce when workers actually arrive, power is on and the inputs are in stock.
Real supply chains. Ice becomes water, water becomes oxygen and crops, CO2 becomes fuel, regolith and iron become construction materials. Tap any resource to see where it comes from, where it goes and how many sols remain.
Crises with consequences. Dust storms starve your solar arrays, meteors strike, machines break, settlers ask to join and Earth makes demands. Every event pauses the game and asks you to choose.
Grow a civilization. Research a 24-technology tree, send the rover to survey unexplored sectors and uncover discoveries, trade with Earth, enact policies and work toward independence.
Early version: one settlement on one map. Multiple settlements, deep terraforming and very large populations are still to come.
