A fan-made recreation of the Roaring Knight boss battle from DELTARUNE.

How to play

• After the title, pick a difficulty: Easy (0.4x damage taken, more items, +50% TP gain), Medium (0.9x damage, regular items, +10% TP) or Hard (1.2x damage, fewer items, -40% TP) or KAIZO: "A brand new challenge, only for those who are worthy."
• On your turn choose FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, SPARE or DEFEND with the arrow keys and Z (or click).
• FIGHT: press Z as the bar reaches the line. Perfect timing lands a critical hit.
• On the Knight's turn, steer your red SOUL inside the box with arrows or WASD and dodge slashes, star bursts, falling swords and thrown swords (they flash red before launching).
• Graze bullets to build TP, then spend TP on ACTs like Brace, Focus and X-Slash (60% TP: two strikes at 1.5x FIGHT damage).
• Break the Knight's 1000 HP... it turns blue, ROARS and refills to 1000 for Phase 2, where every attack is much faster and deadlier.
• On Easy, defeating Phase 2 ends the battle. On Medium, Hard and KAIZO, land the final blow and the Knight holds at 1 HP with DEF 99999, turns white amid its afterimages, then unleashes its FINAL ATTACK of star bursts, swords and slashes. Survive it and its DEF drops to 0. Finish it!
• The Knight fades into the dark... then fades back in a few seconds later for Phase 3: violet, faster, denser and deadlier than ever. Beat it for good.
• Creators: the Editor's Attack editor lets you pick which phases each attack appears in, tune its density, speed and damage, toggle its extra Phase 2/3 swords and Phase 3 slashes, set how much its density, speed and damage go up in Phase 2 and Phase 3, and test it on repeat, including the six Phase 4 attacks and Phase 4 tuning. A Test difficulty picker at the top sets which difficulty test fights use. Type any number into a value's box to go past the slider, with no upper limit.
• The Dark Fountain roars in the background. Fall late and you can retry from Phase 2, the Final Attack or Phase 3.
