Explore seven illustrated English storybooks, A0–C2, with 20 named chapters per edition and 1,160 vocabulary entries. Choose Zoe or Leo as your story companion: age seven in A0–A2, twelve in B1–B2, and fifteen in C1–C2. Character stars stay separate, and original Zoe saves are retained. Earn stars and take exams with an 85% pass target. Save words, examples and revision dates in your vocabulary notebook, then export your collection.

Every vocabulary entry has a generated scene. Enjoy animated companions, illustration clips, Fit scene or Fill screen, and English or Mandarin listening. Shared illustrations may show Zoe and friends. EN / CN adds Simplified Chinese support while keeping English answers. Zoe prefers an installed girl child voice and Leo a boy child voice, with child-tone fallbacks and separate voice settings. Preview either voice before reading. Device voices are synthetic and vary by device. Writing checks patterns and structure; a teacher should review meaning. Speaking is ungraded, and optional microphone transcription depends on your browser.

Step into the Storybook Quiz Show studio, with a modern illuminated stage, sleek interactive question board and live score podiums. Choose a Chinese boy or girl for your contestant, matching the book’s age, and challenge computer-controlled Zoe or Leo. Your contestant choice is separate from your story companion and saved lesson stars.

Meet Max, the illustrated host who asks questions aloud and celebrates your performance. Replay, stop or mute his voice. The audience cheers and claps for correct answers and gives a long sympathetic aw for mistakes. Section victories bring confetti; chapter champions get a larger golden finale. Losses receive a kind “you’ll get them next time.” Crowd audio uses synthesis and device speech. Motion can be switched off.

Matching pictures are large and shown in roomy sets: three on desktop, two on phones. Matches stay in place as you move between sets; check the whole round at the end. Short screens can scroll to keep pictures readable. Scroll bars are hidden; longer stories, lessons and results still scroll with arrow keys, mouse wheel and touch.

Earn $100 in virtual US dollars per correct answer. The winner takes the combined pot; ties share equally. These are in-game prizes with no real cash payout. Replays replace round totals. Finish every section and the chapter exam to crown the champion. The CPU answers independently at ≈75% accuracy.
