About PORT: Proto Object Research
PORT: Proto Object Research
A first-person facility horror incident. Two uncanny 3D photographs fade in: a bare field under blue sky hides a distant censored object, then a researcher points toward a glowing tree high above. The images vanish into the elevator descent.
Cross the facility, accept the Monster Index, shoot the four trial symbols and enter the infinite hallways. A 3D introduction shows Giggus Biggus breaching a door, Hook Flower breaking through the ceiling, and Walking Lotus lunging with its tongue. The creatures stay out of sight during a 30-second safe window, then the survival round begins.
The hallways have worn panel textures, cables and pipes hanging from the ceiling, and a vast cylindrical hub with walkways circling an open shaft on multiple visible levels. Survive Giggus frenzy, ceiling hooks, Lotus tongues, TIME, Leviathan and four selectable difficulty threats. Secret routes lead to the Farlands/4D Tree, a space garden, and the endless Backrooms. Find a tape and TV in the Backrooms to view a fully 3D PORT archive recording with modeled staff, rooms and machinery.
Controls: WASD move, Shift sprint, Space jump/select difficulty, Q/E or arrow keys look, mouse or drag look, click shoot, I Monster Index, E interact with tape/TV, R restart. Desktop keyboard and mouse recommended. The space garden remains the end of round one; round two will follow when its details are supplied.
