Ledger of the Dead

London, 1349. The plague has come, and you are not a man. You only wear the gravekeeper's coat, and something in you still remembers kindness.

Mourners knock at your lodge door with their dead, their pleas and their offers. Read the clues on each body, wash, wrap and bless them, carve a tombstone with the right shape, symbol and a true epitaph, then carry them into the churchyard and lay them where they belong: the chapel wall, the old yew, the river wall or the common pit.

Every right choice feeds your Humanity. Every careless one starves it. Take a bribe, carve a lie, turn a mourner away, and the cost comes due. Survive three plague nights and see which keeper you become.

Roguelike nights: the dead, the mourners and their offers are shuffled each run. Pick a gift at every dawn.
