About Race Control
Start as a local kart race director and earn your way to a top-series seat. Each year’s job offers reflect the races you have directed, the accuracy of your decisions, and your relationships with teams and fans. Regional karting opens national karting or local open-wheel and stock-car paths.
Free play keeps the original championship sandbox: five series, configurable grids, lap or timed races and a 2–12 round calendar across six fictional tracks. Endurance and multi-class racing retain optional Code 60 and two or three separately scored classes.
Watch the circuit, inspect animated evidence, choose a safety flag and publish driver rulings. Crashes can involve up to four cars, or six in stock-car packs; damaged cars retire and show DNF on timing and results. Unsafe pit releases earn 10 seconds. Natural forecasts give rain in one race out of three, with severe weather in one out of seven; forced weather options remain available.
Single-player race management with mouse controls, accelerated race time and separate local autosaves for Career and Free play. Fictional drivers, regulations and circuits; authored 2D reconstructions rather than driving physics.
