About STREET KINGS — 1v1 Basketball
Rule the block in a third-person 3D streetball prototype. Face an active AI rival on a worn urban half-court, or learn your timing in Practice.
Hold J and release in the green window to shoot. Drive inside the paint and press M for a dunk. C performs a direct hand-switch crossover; K cycles six dribble skills; L steals, Space blocks, and F toggles your defensive stance. Move with WASD, sprint with Shift, and drag the mouse to rotate the camera.
First to 11, win by two. Baskets inside the arc earn one point; outside shots earn two. Every possession starts with a check. Open EDIT YOUR PLAYER to choose six hairstyles (including dreads, cornrows and an afro), four skin tones, five jersey and shoe colors, headbands, armbands and four basketball designs. Rotate your player, inspect the face and save your look on this device. Sunset and night lighting are retained.
Version 5 adds distance-driven run cycles, continuous jump takeoffs and eased dunk gathers. Athletes have broader shoulders and a tapered torso. The player editor now offers eight hairstyles, four hair colors, nine clothing colors, jerseys, training T-shirts, long-sleeve jumpers, hoodies, joggers and separate compression sleeves. Choose left, right or both sleeves and their color. More painted murals decorate the buildings outside the cage.
Models remain original procedural athletes with stylized faces, rather than photorealistic scans. Recorded CMU dribble and shooting motion is retained; running, dunking and defense are procedural. Audio is synthesized, gamepads are unsupported and physical mobile play is unverified. Motion attribution is included in LICENSE-MOCAP.md.
