Verity Realms
@kokomagooWake up in your house in town, answer a knock at the door and unbox Verity, a smiling yellow AI ball you can talk to. Be careful what you say: on the third night Verity transforms into a hyper-realistic Verity Monster with sallow human skin, empty eye sockets and rows of human teeth that hunts you down.
The story
- Wake up upstairs in your own two-storey house, walk down the stairs, through the kitchen and open the front door.
- Pick up the mysterious box on the doorstep, set it on the kitchen table and open it to meet Verity.
- Chat with Verity by typing or with quick replies. Kind words calm it; mean words make it angry, and a furious Verity transforms early.
- On the third night Verity smashes through your ceiling as the Verity Monster and hunts you every night until you destroy it.
Fight back
- You start with a P90. Buy a pump shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, ammo, medkits and a Kevlar vest from Rex the Gunsmith outside your door.
- Earn coins from a daily stipend, surviving monster nights and selling wood, coal and iron.
- Sleep in your bed to skip to nightfall or morning.
Explore a living realm
- Endless streamed voxel terrain with forests, snowy mountains, grasslands, badlands and rivers, plus four kinds of settlements with villagers to trade with.
- Survival with health, hunger, stamina, fall damage and drowning; crafting, tool wear and structural gravity.
Controls
- Desktop: WASD move, mouse look, Space jump, Shift sprint, hold left-click to shoot or mine, right-click to place, F use/talk, B shop, C craft, Q eat, M map.
- Touch: left stick to move, drag to look, FIRE/MINE, USE, PLACE, JUMP and RUN buttons.
