Surface Survey
@longwangshenlongBegin a surface ecology survey
Japan is a pharmaceutical powerhouse. As a young researcher from underground Tokyo, survey a surface devastated by a virus. Travel through ruined Tokyo, unstable Mount Fuji and an enlarged Lake Biwa, fight infected creatures, treat suffering individuals and record them in your bestiary.
How to play
- Move: arrows / WASD. Jump: Space / W / Up.
- Attack: Z / J. Survey, treat and talk: X / K. Bestiary: C. Menu: Esc.
- Take assignments in the underground hub, then explore Japan using teleporters and rest stops.
- Metroidvania progression: abilities such as dash and diving open previously inaccessible paths.
Included scope
A connected Japan campaign covers underground Tokyo, surface Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Lake Biwa and boss battles, with a bestiary, treatment, side quests and equipment progression. Overseas surveys in the US, Europe and Russia and a much larger stage count are planned for future expansions.
