Lancaster Tail Gunner

Sit in the rear turret of an Avro Lancaster and fight off Luftwaffe fighters in first person, with simulator-style realism: bullet drop and slipstream, limited belts and gun stoppages, a hydraulic turret driven by the port inner engine, and component damage to engines, fuel tanks and crew. Call a corkscrew to throw off attackers and listen for crew callouts instead of on-screen markers. Fly from the Atlantic across England, the North Sea and Germany, land at airfields to repair and upgrade your guns, and push on until you bomb the Polish border.

If the bomber is shot down, choose to bail out or ditch. Check the route map to see whether you are over water. Swim for the dinghy, survive adrift or evade capture, and learn your fate: KIA, WIA or MIA.
