Bus Driving: Route Driver (バス運転 ルートドライバー)

Live a full day as a Hiroshima Clear Line bus driver (Hiroshima Bus Center → Hiroshima-Kure Road → Kure Station / Aga Station), using all 59 real weekday Kure/Aga-bound departures (6:10 to 22:25, Feb 2025 timetable) plus the 24:00 last bus.

A driver's day

1. Clock in at the depot office
2. Pre-duty roll call: breathalyzer, health check, license, receive the route sheet, synchronize your watch
3. Walk to the garage
4. Pre-trip inspection: tires, lights, mirrors, wipers, doors, fluids
5. Start the engine and watch the warning lamps go out
6. Pull out of service from the depot to the Hiroshima Bus Center bay
7. Service trip: keep to the timetable while each stop is checked on the route sheet with its due and actual time
8. Last bus: after the turnaround, drive the 24:00 last bus of the night (the 24:00 duty is a single trip)
9. Return to the depot and park precisely in your bay
10. Turn off the engine and finish with the end-of-duty roll call

How to play

• Pick a coach, then a duty from the time-of-day tabs, and clock in. Tap each checklist item or the Point and check button
• Hiroshima city stops are pick-up only; after the expressway, Kure city stops are drop-off only
• Hold the right GAS pedal, left BRAKE pedal and drag the wheel to stay in lane (ArrowUp/ArrowDown, ArrowLeft/ArrowRight, E for the door)
• Stop at the pole, tap DOOR to open it for riders, then close it to depart
• The route sheet on the right shows each stop's due time and check
• Stop before the line at red lights; running a red or skipping a stop costs points
• Tap ANNOUNCE (or Q) for on-board announcements in 4 languages; VIEW (or V) cycles cab, seats and side views
