Lead a 100-hamster hivemind through the Backrooms, map every hallway and make each level collapse behind you. When the lights turn red, then go out, the entities come hunting. Run, or send your swarm to bite them to pieces.
Why you'll love it
- One hive, one mind: steer the leader and watch a hundred hamsters pour after you.
- Bite back: click, press Space or tap BITE to send squads of 10. Enough biters take down anything, but every bite costs hamsters.
- Lights out: lamps flash red, then black. Your whiskers feel the walls while glowing eyes close in, and red arrows warn you of footsteps behind the walls.
- 12 strange levels: the yellow Lobby, Pipe Dreams, the Terror Hotel, a party cruise ship where everyone is having FUN =), the Poolrooms, a red-lit hospital and more. Each one has its own music and sounds.
- Monsters to outsmart: grinning Smilers, Hounds, sprinting Bacteria, Partygoers that lure your hamsters away, wandering Facelings and Death Moths that fly over walls.
- Make it collapse: map 90% of a level and watch the Backrooms glitch apart as your hive slips through the cracks.
- A story to finish: an opening movie shows the scientist's plan. Lead everyone out into the sunlight to see the ending.
How to play
- Move the lead hamster with the arrow keys, WASD, the on-screen arrows or a controller.
- Send hamsters at entities with left click, Space or the BITE button.
- Pick up lost hamsters to grow your hive.
- Checkpoints at 30% and 60% mapped. Your progress saves automatically.
Plays on phones, tablets and computers in 18 languages, with music and sound-effect volume sliders.
