Classic Chess

Classic chess with a computer opponent or hot-seat two players on one device.

How to play

• Choose vs Computer (you play White) or 2 Players.
• Tap or click a piece, then a highlighted square to move.
• White starts; in vs Computer, Black replies automatically after a short think.
• Illegal moves are blocked with on-screen feedback.
• Castling, en passant, and pawn promotion (queen/rook/bishop/knight) are supported.

Controls

• vs Computer / 2 Players — switch play mode (starts a new game).
• New Game — reset to the starting position.
• Resign / Offer Draw — end the game with a result.
• Flip Board — swap perspective for Black’s seat.
• Mate in 1 / Stalemate — load hot-seat review scenarios for checkmate and draw.

Outcome

Check, checkmate, and stalemate are announced. A game-over panel names the winner or draw and offers Restart.
