Jack & Dave: Pea Defenders
@rb1102406Jack is a teenager with a pea launcher, and his friend Dave has his back. Husks shamble in from the right across five lanes, and if they chew through the home fence the level is over.
How to play
- Arrow keys move Jack: up and down between the five lanes, left and right along the defence zone.
- Space fires a pea straight down Jack's lane. Hold it to keep firing.
- Dave stands at the home fence, slides to the most threatened lane, and on a cooldown fires an assist volley of golden peas while patching the fence.
Progression
Ten sections of the earth, ten levels each, one hundred levels in all. Every world has its own biome, palette, husk type, speed and toughness, from the Backyard through the Dust Desert, Green Jungle, Arctic Shelf, Sunken Swamp, Stone Mountains, Steel City, Crystal Cave, Ash Volcano and the Deep Earth Core.
Every single level you clear grants a new named unlock on the reward screen - faster fire, denser peas, piercing shots, quicker Dave assists, bigger volleys, a tougher fence - and it is applied to your loadout from then on. Progress is saved in your browser, and the world map shows what is unlocked. Free Play / World Select on the main menu opens every world and level immediately with that level's matching loadout.
