Move with the joystick, drag the screen to orbit the camera, and chain slashes before they surround you. The health bar is thin and serious: if it empties, the courtyard closes and you can begin again.
Joystick at the lower left, CORTE button, and drag the screen to turn the camera. On desktop: WASD, J and drag.
