About thalassophobia TEST
A first-person thalassophobia story. Float alone in a dark, freezing ocean at night until something huge rises from below. Jolt awake, eat breakfast with Mom, walk to school past students chatting out front, and find classroom 401 for first-period science. Then you pass out... and wake up in your house, flooded to the knees. Outside the door is a black, endless ocean: hold your breath, shine your flashlight at the 20 ft eel leviathan, keep quiet so the blind Tiny can't hear you, decode the Morse code and find the glowing yellow exit. Wake up next to Dad, get hit by another shark flash, learn the family secret, then ride through the city at night to McDonald's. Then eat at McDonald's with Dad, FaceTime your friends until they pass out one by one, wake in a dark flooded house and paddle a canoe with Dad at sunrise to rescue John.
