Krieg 1942

Winter 1942, a canteen table and one borrowed 32-card German deck. Every round you pick one of three cards to slam down against the rival soldier; the higher rank drags the pile home, a dead tie starts a Krieg that buries cards face down and pays out everything at once. Spend three single-use orders - scout his card, reinforce your rank, or feint so the lowest card wins - and strip his stack bare before forty rounds run out.
