Scarlet Staff Quest (紅の棒術少女)

Genre: Action. Guide a pink-haired staff fighter through eight stages: forest, ruins, water cavern, crystal cave, clockwork tower, lava cave, sky bridges and scarlet citadel.

Run, jump, strike enemies and open treasure chests for attack upgrades, a single-hit shield, longer staff, hearts and gems. Climbing routes, moving platforms, short and long crumbling platforms, lava falls and spike crushers challenge your timing. Slow floating ghosts ignore terrain, take three hits and briefly turn transparent and stop after each hit. Checkpoint flags rise when collected. Animated results convert remaining time, lives and HP into score.

Arrows / A D: move. Z / Space / Up: jump. X / J / left click: one staff strike per press. Esc: pause. Landscape touch controls and standard gamepads supported. Manual available in English and Japanese. Press Down in midair to thrust and bounce off enemies. Find extra lives along side routes, fight stone throwing orcs and climb the winding final citadel.
