Make something like this

Use this short prompt as a starting point. It captures the idea, not the original creator's instructions.

Make a top-down 2D action RPG where you explore dungeons, defeat monsters, collect treasure and equipment, and level up.

About the game

Dungeon Hero RPG v6.0.0 is a major expansion of a large 2D action RPG, with four town merchants for weapons, armor, classes and potions; 100 regular and 300 hidden classes; 600 hunting grounds; 400 solo boss dungeons; and 1,000 weapons plus 1,000 armors.

New in v6.0.0

  • One shared server: no lobby and no room code — everyone who enters joins the same world automatically. The top Server pill shows the connection state and the live player count, and other players in your zone are drawn with their nickname nametag.
  • Hidden Sanctuary removed, Adventure zone added: both former sanctuary portals now lead to the new Adventure zone.
  • Hidden classes hidden in Adventure: two Ancient Hidden-Class Altars in Adventure awaken one of the 300 hidden classes with [E].
  • Team invite and PK challenge: the Online player list offers Team Invite and PK Challenge for every visible player. Accepting an invite forms a team (allies do not damage each other); accepting a PK challenge starts a duel with both HP bars and a clear win/lose banner.

In v4.1.0

  • Potion merchant Mira (🧪): Mira now stands in the north-east of town, to the right of Elder Eldrin. Walk up and press E, or use the top 🧪 물약 상점 button, to buy HP potions, MP potions, the Holy Elixir and Town Return Scrolls with gold, then use them instantly with 1 / 2 / 3.
  • Your friend is actually visible: The top 👥 2P 친구 참가 button brings in a second hero with a cyan "▼ 2P 친구" nameplate, spawned a clear tile away from Player 1 instead of stacked on the same pixel, with its own HP bar in the HUD.
  • Same-keyboard co-op fix: The 2P move-up key I clashed with the Player 1 inventory shortcut, so the friend could not walk upward. In manual 2P mode I is now reserved for Player 2 and inventory opens from the top button, letting Player 1 (arrows/Space) and Player 2 (I/J/K/L, U) play at the same time. Co-op is local, same-screen play on one keyboard; there is no online multiplayer.

From v4.0.0

  • Ne-heung (네힁) quest NPC and 30 legendary weapons: Take a quest from Ne-heung (🧝) in town, land three hits on the training dummy or defeat three monsters, and return for one of 30 legendary weapons (including the Black Hole Sword, each 2,000,000,000 G or more). The top ⚜️ 전설 무기 button opens the collection.
  • Nickname: Type your own hero name on the title screen; it shows in the HUD and is saved.
  • Fixed basic attack and skills: The basic attack projectile is now a weapon-shaped strike tinted by weapon rarity instead of a white snowball, and Q/E skills always resolve, with on-screen "not enough MP" / "cooldown" feedback.
  • Wooden starter gear: You begin with Wooden Armor and a Wooden Club.
