About Iron Supremacy
Seize world supremacy
A real-time territory-war strategy game with two maps to choose from: Europe, where eight great powers are packed together (about 100 provinces), and the whole World, where thirteen nations including Japan, the United States, China, Russia, North Korea and India clash across every continent (about 160 provinces linked by sea lanes). In the new Alliance War mode, the West and the China-Russia-North Korea bloc face off and you fight alongside your allies. Pick your map and nation, gather resources, build armies and hold 40% of all provinces for 45 seconds to win (CPU nations can too, so knock down whoever rises).
How to play
- Tap a province to select it. Select your army, then tap another province (or right-click on PC) to march there
- Train infantry, artillery and tanks in each province. Developing a province raises income and unlocks stronger units
- Rock-paper-scissors combat: tanks beat infantry, artillery beats tanks, infantry beats artillery
- Reach development Lv3 to build fast, heavy-hitting Bombers (strong vs tanks and artillery, but fragile)
- Grab lightly defended neutral provinces early to secure cash, food, steel and oil
- Trade surplus resources for cash at the market, or buy what you lack
- Capturing a capital cripples the enemy's income. Change speed from 0.5x to 8x or pause at any time
New mode: Alliance War
- Pick "Alliance War" on the title screen. On the World map the western bloc (NATO, the US-Japan and US-ROK alliances, the Commonwealth, Japan-Australia, Japan-Taiwan) faces China, Russia and North Korea, bound by three treaties; on the Europe map seven NATO members face Russia
- Allies never fight or take each other's land. They move freely through each other's territory and defend provinces together (US forces are stationed in Japan and Germany, North Korean troops in Russia)
- When an ally is attacked, collective defence kicks in: allied CPU nations ship reinforcements and strike back at the aggressor. Attack North Korea and China and Russia answer. Non-aligned nations must be ready to take on a whole bloc
- Victory is per bloc: hold 50% of all provinces together (85% on the Europe map) for 45 seconds and every ally wins; a non-aligned nation (India, Brazil) needs 40% alone.
- The original Classic mode is still there, unchanged
Features
- Two maps: Europe (Germany, Britain, France, Italy, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Poland) and the World (Japan, United States, China, Russia, North Korea, South Korea, India, Brazil, Germany, France, Britain, Turkey, Australia, Taiwan)
