About Kingdom Rage
Kingdom Rage is a dark-fantasy beat 'em up for one to four players: walk right, grab, throw and smash your way through a possessed kingdom, in crisp pixel art lit like a modern game.
Needs a browser with WebGPU: the latest Chrome or Edge (desktop or Android), or Safari on an up-to-date iPhone, iPad or Mac.
Play solo, share one screen with up to two friends, or take a party of four online. New to brawlers? TRAINING teaches the moves in six short lessons.
The bells of Hollowmere stopped at dusk, and the townsfolk turned on each other. Follow the corruption below the old cathedral down to its source, and close the Rift.
Co-op, on one screen or online
- One computer, up to three heroes: one gamepad (the first one you press) and two players sharing the keyboard. On a phone or tablet: touch, plus one gamepad.
- Drop in mid-fight with one press; hold pause 2 s to leave. Stand in a downed friend's ring to revive them.
- Online, up to four heroes, each on their own device: sign in to PlayDrop, create a room and share its four-letter code.
Four heroes, four ways to fight
- Brakk, the barbarian, the grappler: only a knockdown breaks his hold, and the bodies he throws hit harder. Ultimate: Berserk.
- Vesna, the monk: the fastest feet, a double jump, flying kicks and air juggles. Ultimate: Hundred Palms.
- Carmilla, the vampire: claws, a bat dash that passes through foes, and bites that heal. Ultimate: Blood Feast.
- Ulric, the werewolf: a bare-knuckle boxer whose haymaker sends foes flying, with a beast inside. Ultimate: The Change.
Six stages, six bosses
From the moonlit lanes of Hollowmere through Blackwood, Ravenhill's graves, the Pale Cathedral and the Catacombs down to the burning Rift, each stage ends in a boss, from Gorrund the possessed innkeeper to Azkarath, the Possessor. Pick a perk between stages and choose Easy, Normal or Hard. Out of lives? Continue where you fell, as often as you need: your score starts again from zero.
How to play
- Hits build your combo and fill your rage bar. A full bar unleashes your ultimate.
- Walk into a foe and keep pushing to grab them, then knee, throw (a direction + attack) or vault over (jump). A thrown foe bowls over the foes in his path.
