The game

Gol Histórico is an educational penalty game in portrait. Each era asks one question about Brazilian history. Only a correct answer earns the penalty kick.

How to play

Tap Quick challenge (two eras) or the eight-era Campaign: 1500 Colonial, 1789 Inconfidência, 1822 Independence, 1888 Abolition, 1889 Republic, 1930 Vargas Era, 1960 Brasília, and 1985 Redemocratization.

Answer correctly to take the penalty against the intimidating Argentine goalkeeper. Sporting the Albiceleste kit, custom gloves, and taunts, he hides his dive until the ball is struck. Only one high corner beats him. A correct answer still unlocks the kick and scores more, up to three stars for that era.

A wrong answer still shows the right option and the fact. You do not take the penalty: the ball stays put and that era earns no stars. Tap Continue to move on.

What remains

At the end, a table lists every era, your answer, whether it was right or wrong, and the correct answer. Play again restarts in place without reloading. The high score is stored on this device outside preview.
