You start with $120, a worn shovel and an old hammer. Joe, your old foreman, shows you around town and builds your first job with you. After that, the company is yours to grow.

Build it stage by stage

• Pick a client at the Site Office. Every job shows the pay, the deposit and a target time.
• Each stage, from digging the ground to the last coat of paint, needs the right tool and the right materials.
• Press Start, then tap the build ring: each tap finishes the next part of the stage.
• Beat the target time for three stars and a bonus, then cut the ribbon and watch the family move in.

Choose your suppliers

Budget is cheap but slow and sometimes short. City is fair and reliable. Express is twice as fast for a third more. Stoneworth sells premium stock to builders with a good name. Every order rides across town on a truck.

Grow your company

• Rise from Laborer to Mason, Foreman and all the way to Tycoon.
• Hire helpers, masons, operators and engineers, and buy machines like excavators and cement mixers.
• Fix up residents' homes, open new districts (Riverside, Downtown and the Hills, each with its own look) and build landmarks.
• Upgrade your own home from a rented shack to a hilltop mansion.

A living town you can just watch

Tap anyone to see who they are and what they're doing. Put the phone down and watch mode drifts the camera around your town. Spring brings new clients, Monsoon Week brings rain and late trucks, the Harvest Fair cuts prices and the Festival of Lights brings rush jobs.

Daily rewards, trophies, odd jobs like stacking pallets, and surprises around town: golden bricks, lost puppies and burst pipes.

Goals always show what to aim for next, leaderboards show how you rank against other builders, and soft, slow music plays in the background.
