Connect your AI to PlayDrop: make and publish games (MCP)
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Gemini or any MCP app to PlayDrop, then make, publish and share games from your chat.
PlayDrop is an open platform for games made with AI. Your AI app can make a game and publish it to your PlayDrop account, where anyone can play it from a link. You keep working in the app you already use; PlayDrop hosts the game, its page and its players.
Pick your AI app
Each guide shows the exact steps for that app. Apps with a PlayDrop plugin also get our publishing instructions; the others connect with a link.
Use any other AI app
Any app that supports MCP servers can connect. Add a custom MCP server with the link below and choose OAuth, then sign in to your PlayDrop account and allow access. Never paste a password or a token into a chat.

Ask your AI: “Make a small game that works on phones, publish it on PlayDrop and give me the link.” It builds the game, publishes it and replies with a link anyone can play. Single-game uploads publish automatically: new games use your visibility setting (Public by default), and updates keep the game’s visibility. Explicitly ask for a private upload to test before publishing. To update a game, ask the same app again from the same chat or project: the game keeps its link.
On your phone
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok Bot can use PlayDrop on your phone once it is connected. Set it up once, usually in a browser, then use the app on your phone with the same account. Every game you publish plays on phones and computers.
What MCP and the Agent Plugin are
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI apps use to plug into other services. PlayDrop’s MCP server lets your AI read your PlayDrop account and publish and update your games, after you sign in. The PlayDrop Agent Plugin adds our publishing instructions to coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity, so they package and publish games the right way.
Limits and advanced options
A game is one index.html file of up to 5 MiB. You can add a store page with an icon, images, videos and translations, and an optional multiplayer server (server.js, up to 2 MiB) that PlayDrop hosts: see catalogue.json, the client SDK and the server SDK. To test a local build inside PlayDrop before you upload it, open https://www.playdrop.ai/creators/<username>/apps/game/<slug>/dev?url=http://localhost:5173/. Games published from your AI are updated from your AI, not in PlayDrop’s Studio.
If something goes wrong
Check that your app or workspace allows custom connectors, then connect again and sign in. Ask your AI to read your PlayDrop account to test the connection. If an upload stops halfway, ask it to finish the same upload instead of starting a new game. Tell us about a problem with the connector’s feedback tool, or see Troubleshooting.
