About Baseball Manager
Lead a brand-new 11th expansion club built from player cards whose 0-100 ratings come from sabermetric-style season records, and climb from the Rookie league past the UR League into endless Super-Super leagues.
How to play
- Endless promotion: Rookie → Single-A → Double-A → Triple-A → KBO → JBO → Major League → S → SS → SSS → UR League → Super-Super 1 → Super-Super 2 → … rising forever. Only the regular-season 1st place or the final champion is promoted.
- Real-name player cards: real KBO player names. The same player has different ratings by year, and Normal, Special and Monster cards of one player have different ratings.
- Golden and Ultra Rare cards: league-defining players get 90+ overall Golden cards and 95+ overall Ultra Rare cards.
- Season: 10 clubs, 144 games each (720 league games). Watch a game as a text relay, or advance 1 game, 7 games or the rest of the season.
- Expansion club: start with randomly drawn lower-tier players from many clubs and years.
- Lineup and bullpen: batting order is separate from fielding positions, so any position can bat anywhere. 5-man rotation, closers in save situations, setup men in the 8th, middle relief, and off-position fielding errors.
- Records: box scores with pitcher win/loss/save, season batting (including stolen bases) and pitching stats, standings, and league-wide leaderboards for home runs, steals, RBI, average, wins, saves, strikeouts and ERA.
- Postseason: Wild Card, Semi-playoff, Playoff and Championship Series decide the regular-season and final champions.
- Special ability cards: obtained only from draws; equip one item per player, such as Ace Starter, Ironclad Closer, Caught Stealing, Heart of the Order, Son of the Wind or Slugger.
- Collect and grow: scouting, a transfer market, development players, one-time random-stat enhancement per player, selling unused players, and same-club / same-year synergy.
- Stats: batter OPS, other clubs' player stats, and a personal season-stats window for each player in your lineup.
Player names are real, but season records and ratings are fictional sample data for gameplay.
