What is PlayDrop Cloud?
PlayDrop Cloud lets you create and improve games by describing what you want in your browser. Start at Create, play the generated version, and ask for changes in the game's creation conversation. Getting Started walks through your first game.
Do I need to install anything or know how to code?
You can use the Cloud creation flow in the web app without installing development tools. Describe the gameplay in plain language. You still need to playtest: a generated version may need corrections before it is ready to share.
Can I create games for free?
Yes. A free account starts on Basic with 5 generations per week, 1 concurrent task, 10 game slots, and 1 GB of storage. Creating, editing, or remixing may consume a generation, so five generations do not necessarily mean five finished games.
What do Plus and Pro include?
Plus is $20 USD per month with 50 generations per week, 5 concurrent tasks, 100 games, and 10 GB of storage. Pro is $100 USD per month with 500 generations per week, 10 concurrent tasks, 1,000 games, and 100 GB. See plans and limits and the price shown in the shop before subscribing.
When do generations reset, and what happens if I run out?
The weekly allowance resets every Friday at 17:00 in New York, following its daylight-saving time. Unused weekly generations do not accumulate. You can wait for the reset or use an additional generation for 100 credits when spending beyond the allowance is enabled. Credits and weekly generations are separate balances.
How can I earn extra credits without buying them?
Use Free credits to check and claim rewards for account creation, playing, following a creator, notifications, mobile sign-in, referrals, creating assets and games, updates, remixes, publishing, sharing, the creator survey, PlayTrade, and eligible boosting. Most objectives pay once. Some qualifying actions have their own cost; the reward does not make the action free. The complete guide lists amounts and limits.
Can I get Plus or Pro for free?
Yes, through Play Challenge. Eligible plays across your games unlock 100 credits at 1 play, 7 days of Plus at 10 plays, 14 days of Plus at 100, 30 days of Plus at 1,000, and 30 days of Pro at 10,000. Each milestone can be claimed once. These are temporary plan benefits, not permanent subscriptions. An active paid subscription prevents claiming a plan reward; see claim conditions.
Which plays count toward Play Challenge?
The challenge uses daily unique play records across your games. Your own plays and plays from test accounts are excluded. Repeated launches do not each add another qualifying play. Use the challenge progress shown in Free credits, rather than assuming every view or launch counts.
How do I publish or update a Cloud game?
Test the generated version, review the game's listing, then complete its publishing flow. To improve it later, return to the creation conversation, request a change, and test the result before publishing the update. See publishing and sharing.
Can I upload an existing web game or register a URL?
Yes. Import in the web app accepts a web-game upload or an external HTTPS URL. For a URL, confirm you own the site or have permission to register it. Review the game details and follow the checks shown before finishing. See the import instructions.
Does translating a game page translate the game itself?
Not necessarily. PlayDrop interface language, a game's listing translations, and the language inside the game are separate. Not every game has every translation. Check the actual game and its available listing languages before describing it as localized.
