Start with one playable idea
Open Create, sign in, and describe the game you want. PlayDrop Cloud creates the game online, so you can start in your browser without installing development tools. Pick one main action and a clear goal before adding a long feature list.
A useful first prompt is: “Make a small racing game where I steer around obstacles, collect stars, and try to beat my time. Include touch controls and a restart button.” Say how the player moves, what counts as success, and which devices you want to support.
Play, then improve through chat
Once a version is ready, play it. Check the controls, the objective, losing, winning, and restarting. On a phone, check that you can reach the controls and read the instructions.
Use the game's creation conversation to request concrete changes: “Make the first level easier,” “Keep the current art but add a score counter,” or “The jump button does not respond on my phone.” Include the action that caused a problem and what you expected. Test the next version before requesting more changes. See the Cloud creation guide.
Know your free allowance
Basic costs $0 and includes 5 generations per week. Creating, updating, and remixing can use generations: the allowance is not a promise of five finished games. Weekly generations reset on Friday at 17:00 New York time. If you use them all, you can wait for the reset or, when enabled, spend 100 credits on an additional generation.
Compare Basic, Plus, and Pro before upgrading. Plus includes 50 generations per week and Pro includes 500.
Publish and bring in players
When the game works, use its publishing flow, review its title, description, and images, and share its public page. Give players a clear reason to try it and use their feedback for your next update. Creating a draft and publishing it are different steps.
Play Challenge rewards eligible plays across your games: the first earns 100 credits; later milestones unlock free, temporary Plus or Pro access. Your own plays and test accounts do not count. Read the rewards guide for thresholds and claim rules.
Collect available rewards
Open Free credits to see completed actions and claim available rewards. Rewards include account creation, playing, following, mobile sign-in, referrals, and creator activities. Some qualifying activities cost credits or generations themselves. Check the displayed cost before starting.
Already have a web game?
You can also upload your web game or register an external URL through the web app. This is useful when you already have playable files or a hosted game. Follow the publishing guide; you do not need that path to make a game with Cloud.
