Explore a blocky island of forests, deserts, snowy peaks, jungles, mountains and oceans. Mine it, craft tools and build whatever you like.

Two ways to play

• Survival: punch trees for logs, craft planks, a crafting table and tools, then dig into caves for coal, iron and diamonds. Watch your hearts and hunger, eat apples, meat or bread, and hold out through the night against zombies, skeletons and exploding creepers.
• Creative: get every block for free, break blocks instantly and fly to build houses, castles, bridges and cities.

What's inside

• A procedurally generated world with caves, ore veins, village huts with wheat farms and a desert temple hiding treasure
• Crafting with a crafting table and a furnace: wooden, stone, iron and diamond pickaxes and swords, iron and diamond armor, glass, bricks, bread and cooked meat
• Farming: till grass with a hoe, plant seeds and harvest wheat
• Cows, pigs and sheep by day, monsters at night and underground
• A day/night cycle with sunsets, clouds and a moon

The Nether and The End

• The Nether: build a 4×5 Obsidian frame (Obsidian needs a Diamond Pickaxe; the ruined portal where you start only needs 2 more blocks), light it with Flint and Steel and stand inside. Cross the bridge over the lava sea to the Nether Fortress, where a spawner releases fire-shooting Blazes. Kill them for Blaze Rods and craft Blaze Powder.
• Endermen: tall shadowy mobs that roam at night, in the Nether and in The End. Don't stare at them! They drop Ender Pearls — throw one to teleport where it lands.
• The End: craft Eyes of Ender (Ender Pearl + Blaze Powder), throw them to find the stronghold's old stone-brick well, drop down to the hidden room, fill the End Portal frame and jump in to reach a floating island in the void.
