Publish a game, upload files, or register a URL

Publish and share a PlayDrop Cloud game, or bring an existing web game through browser upload and external URL registration.

Publish your Cloud game

Start with Cloud creation, playtest the generated version, and request needed changes in its conversation. Before publishing, verify the main controls and complete a round on the devices you intend players to use.

Review the title, description, and images so the listing matches the game. Complete the publishing flow and open the public page to check the result. Share that page with players and use their feedback to guide updates. A published game can also work toward Play Challenge rewards.

Update carefully

Request a focused change in the creation conversation, test the resulting version, and review it before publishing the update. Recheck controls and restarting even if the change was visual. Do not describe a feature or language as available until it works in the published game.

Upload an existing web game

Open Import and choose files. The web flow supports a web-game folder, ZIP, or HTML file. Include the files the game needs to run. Follow the importer to choose a new game or an existing game to update, review the details, and complete its launch check and final review.

If a required file is missing or the game does not start, correct the export and try again. Uploading source from a development project is not the same as uploading a playable web export.

Register an externally hosted game

On Import, choose the website option and enter the game's HTTPS URL. Confirm that you own the website or have permission to register it. Review the listing and follow the checks shown in the web flow.

The game remains hosted at that URL. Keep it reachable and test it on the devices you advertise. Registering a URL does not transfer its files into a Cloud-generated game.

Languages and expectations

The PlayDrop interface, listing text, and in-game text can have different language coverage. A translated listing does not automatically translate gameplay. Only present translations and device support that are actually available.
