IllustrationCreate a driving game with AI
Focus on the feel of controlling a vehicle. Build one readable route or maneuvering challenge, then tune steering, braking and the camera before enlarging the map.
Example prompts
Create a driving game where a small hatchback delivers hot pizzas around a snowy hillside town. Use arrow keys or WASD to steer, accelerate and brake, with slippery corners, a clear route arrow and gentle bumps instead of crashes. Include one compact map, a reverse control and three deliveries, each with a visible warmth meter.
Create a touch-friendly top-down parking game with a small delivery truck and five short parking challenges. Use left and right steering buttons plus forward and reverse pedals, with visible parking outlines. Begin with a wide empty lot and introduce cones gradually without a countdown.
Create a side-view physics driving game where a small cargo buggy carries three loose crates over a mountain course with three steep hills. Use a right pedal or Right Arrow to accelerate and a left pedal or Left Arrow to brake, then reverse once stopped. Hard acceleration, sudden braking and bumps can tip crates out, so the goal is to reach the final cabin with at least two still aboard. Show how many crates remain, keep the opening hill gentle and offer an instant restart if the buggy overturns or loses too much cargo.
Make your first playable version
Choose the driving task
Decide whether players park, deliver cargo or explore. Describe the vehicle, camera and controls, including how braking and reversing should work.
Build a route worth learning
Use a small map with clear road edges, signs and a destination. Introduce turning and stopping in a safe area before adding tight spaces or traffic.
Tune handling before detail
Test slow turns, braking, reversing and collisions. Adjust the camera and steering so the driver can see obstacles and recover from mistakes.
Questions before you create
How is driving different from racing?
Driving can focus on precision, exploration or deliveries without opponents or a finish-line competition. Choose racing when beating other drivers or a lap time is the main goal.
Can I make phone controls comfortable?
Ask for large steering and pedal controls with space between them. Test whether a player can steer and brake together without covering the road.
Do I need to write code to start?
No. Describe your idea and PlayDrop builds a first playable version in Studio. Play it, then describe the next change you want.
Do I need an account, and what does creating cost?
You sign in before creating. Creation and revisions use credits, and the composer shows the cost before you confirm. Inserting an example only fills the composer; nothing starts until you submit.
