Create a soccer game with AI

Build the part of soccer you most want to play. Start with a satisfying shot, a dribbling challenge or a small match using original teams, then refine the ball and player controls.

Example prompts

Penalty shootout

Create a soccer penalty game where players drag and release with a finger or mouse to set shot direction and power. Take five shots against a computer-controlled goalkeeper, aiming for corner targets to earn bonus points. Use original seaside teams, show the score after every shot and offer a quick rematch.

Use this prompt
Three-a-side match

Create a top-down three-a-side soccer game on a small neighborhood court with two original teams. Use WASD to move the selected player, J to pass and K to shoot and Q to switch to the teammate nearest the ball, while teammates and opponents are computer-controlled. Play a two-minute match with clear possession markers, simple boundaries and a visible score.

Use this prompt
Dribbling challenge

Create a soccer skill challenge where arrow keys steer a player and ball through a garden course of cones and moving practice gates. Reach the finish in under a minute without losing control of the ball, with a small time penalty for hitting a cone. Include one short course, a running timer and an instant retry button.

Make your first playable version

  1. 01

    Choose a focused match format

Pick penalties, one-on-one or a small-sided match before a full team simulation. Define the camera, duration, score limit and whether the player controls one character or switches between teammates.

  2. 02

    Make the ball predictable

Describe how dribbling, kicking and aiming work. Show shot strength or direction where useful, and define boundaries, goals and restarts so the player understands each result.

  3. 03

    Test possession and restarts

Try shooting near goalposts, colliding with opponents and leaving the field. Check that goals count once and each kickoff, save or out-of-bounds event returns the game to a playable state.

Questions before you create

Do I need full teams for my first soccer game?

No. Penalties or a small-sided match let you test shooting and movement without managing many players. Build toward larger teams once possession, goals and restarts behave consistently.

Can I create my own teams and tournaments?

Yes. Describe original team names, colors and a short competition format. Start with a single match and check the result screen before adding standings or a sequence of matches.

Do I need to write code to start?

No. Describe your idea and PlayDrop builds a first playable version in Studio. Play it, then describe the next change you want.

Do I need an account, and what does creating cost?

You sign in before creating. Creation and revisions use credits, and the composer shows the cost before you confirm. Inserting an example only fills the composer; nothing starts until you submit.
